I am starting of a Photo of the Week section. Since Monday is my most hated day of the week, I’ll post every Mondays my favorite image. This is something more for me then anything. I’ve been working so much I never really take the chance to leisurely shoot for myself. By putting this out there for my blog readers, I am holding myself accountable.
I took a long walk on the Perkiomen trail during my lunch break in the drizzle. The air was filled with the chirping of birds and the sound of water droplets gently pelting the leaves on the trees. Squirrels races from one tree bark to the next. I felt by far the most peaceful state I’ve ever been in a long time. For folks that are workaholics…I recommend a walk in the woods. I know this is more then one picture but this is my debut! Enjoy!

Whew so much to take in! My first time at WPPI and I met so many amazing people and learned so many things. What an eye opener. Below are some of my favorite pictures from the plus class offered by the super talented and fun couple JB and DeEtte Sallee.

What a great party Mike and Marina threw this past Sunday for their daughter’s birthday. I spend about 5 hours with Mike and Marina’s amazing family and friends at the Beige and Beige Restaurant. Aside from emailing and phone conversations, I’ve never met Mia’s parent. Needless to say, when the family arrived I was a bit nervous, but they are honestly some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. And so many cute kids there that day!

Adorable!!! She’s got the cutest baby fat.

Natural light coming through the windows. Mom and daughter just look gorgeous.

Mr. David C. Perry did an awesome job with the creative entertainment. I’ve never seen kids laugh so hard! Definitely check him out if you need fun entertainment for kids or adults.

Even Mike’s dad joined in the fun :)

The birthday girl and her cake.

Thanks Mike and Marina for making me a part of your daughter’s special day. I hope you got exactly what you were looking for in preserving memories ;)
