Welcome to my Blog!

This blog is a photo journal of what is happening in my life professionally and personally. I have the most fabulous job in the world, documenting love and beauty. 150 years from now we will all be gone, but our photos will remain. I strive to not only create great pictures, but pictures that are heirloom worthy. After we meet, this is where I showcase you to the world. Be sure to bookmark this and check back for updates.

EUROPE

Back from Europe! What an amazing trip going to see and explore all the places and things I only learned from textbook in school. From trying different culinary, pizza along the shore, the swimwear photoshoot in Cannes, hanging on for dear life on a water ride in Nice, walking on a pebble beach (painful!), shopping (and more shopping!), McDonald in Milan, viewing Rheinfall, unintentionally crossing over to Germany looking for dinner in Switzerland, visiting a cheese factory, climbing the Tower of Pisa, Gelato (and more Gelato!), wine tasting in Chianti, photoshoot in a field of sunflowers, the boat ride in Venice, standing inside St.Peter’s Basilica, climbing the dome, viewing the Sistine Chapel, viewing Michelangelo’s David statue, walking though the Colosseum where the ending fight scene to Way of the Dragon with Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris was filmed, getting propose to by a Gladiator, drinking from the water fountain in Rome, our poor packed to the maximum BMW car, the many times we were driving around looking for food and water, and most importantly I get to hang out with three amazing girls. These moments I’ll never forget.

Meiringen, Switzerland. Reichenbach Falls makes you feel the power of mother nature from the crashes. Wow!

Pamela & Vichet: Atrium of Tenafly Wedding | Tenafly, NJ

Congratulations to Pam and Vichet on their amazing two day wedding celebration! And a killer wedding party, too! With EIGHT clothing changes in two days that was a production in itself. I’ve met so many super nice people and saw some reception table games that future grooms wish I never knew. It’s definitely nice to shoot a wedding speaking in Khmer. We were well taken care of with delicious food throughout the long day. The weather forecast on the day we were suppose to do portrait at Sayen Gardens, severe thunderstorm. The humidity makes it worst and I feel so bad for the guys in their suits, but the whole bridal party were troopers and we trod on with umbrellas in hopes of it dying down a bit.

Bright and early the next day! The sky opened up for some beautiful sun. Many thanks to Megan Carrie for 2nd shooting on the second day. You are much appreciated girl! The Groom’s processional was supposed to be on Friday but was pushed back because of the rain. With a quick 3 hours nap I’m back at Pam’s place again.

The most emotional knot tying ceremony I’ve ever seen. The live band was playing, the priest is talking, everyone else is talking but yet the actions were real and the tears keep rolling. It was so touching.

Congrats Pam and Vichet. It was a crazy 2 days full of love, laughter, tears, Khmer music, and lots of crouching. You both look like you’re having the time of your life and I’m honored to have photographed your wedding. I’m glad your mom found me through the newspaper Pam! Enjoy the slideshow below. If you are at work make sure to turn your speak DOWN!
