I have the most fabulous job in the world, documenting love and beauty. 150 years from now we will all be gone, but our photos will remain. Congrats to Diana and Mike’s baby daughter, Adriana. Last week was her first birthday and baby naming event held at Emperor Restaurant. Lots of events going on at the venue while Magician Kim keeps the children entertained. Adorable Adriana is a doll to photographed as she is a super lively baby! It was wonderful seeing a few familiar faces from past birthday events. There were lots of delicious food and drinks as families and friends sang and clapped for Adriana (who had already fallen asleep by then!). Enjoy the pictures and slideshow below!
The Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival hosted a screening of the documentary House of Suh a few weeks ago at the Prince Music Theater. The film has won numerous awards and was the winner for PAAFF’10 Best Documentary & Audience Award. It is a very compelling documentary and I highly recommend watching it.

On Tuesday, September 20th the PAAFF will be hosting a Fundraiser Dinner in Ocean City Restaurant in Philly’s Chinatown. Be sure to purchase your ticket for a delicious 10 course Chinese dinner, live music, complimentary wine, a cash bar, a silent auction and door prizes. I will be there covering the event. Hope to see lots of familiar faces there!
Congrats to proud parent Rosie and Chris on their daughter’s 1st birthday. The event was hosted at Rosie uncle’s house in NY. It was great to see a lot of familiar faces as Rosie is Vichet’s younger sister, whom recently got married. It was a really nice and laid back gathering of family and friends with lots of delicious food. Little Jasmin made her debut a little bit later in the day as it was her nap time earlier.
