Welcome to my Blog!

This blog is a photo journal of what is happening in my life professionally and personally. I have the most fabulous job in the world, documenting love and beauty. 150 years from now we will all be gone, but our photos will remain. I strive to not only create great pictures, but pictures that are heirloom worthy. After we meet, this is where I showcase you to the world. Family Portraits: The Lee

It’s always fun times when photographing the Lees. I’ve had the pleasure over the years watching this family grow. When I first met Yuan, her daughter Caitlyn wasn’t even born yet and now she’s 1.5yrs old. It was just after Halloween and Yuan wanted to to show off the custom made costumes. And what a beautiful costume it is! It made the kids look like royalty! Enjoy the pictures, I had a great time shooting it. I’ll see you guys soon for more fruit loop cereals ;)

I LOVE Caitlyn’s expression haha

Jaime & Nicholas: Please Touch Museum Wedding | Philadelphia, Pa

Congrats to Jaime and Nicholas on their October “winter” wedding at the Please Touch Museum. Despite the first ever snow in October, the couple and their family and friends party the night away. Below are my favorites 2nd shooting for Lynda Berry.

Monday Favorite

I have been seriously neglecting my Monday Favorite for so long because it has been crazy busy. Well this past Sunday my friend, Lin dragged me out for a walking photo session at Ridley Creek State Park to celebrate the fall foliages. What’s left on the trees and bushes was beautifully lit by the afternoon sun. I love this time of year where it’s not unbearably cold yet and the vibrant leaves add colors and textures. It feels very poetic and I’ll leave you with this poem:

“There is music in the meadows, in the air —
Autumn is here;
Skies are gray, but hearts are mellow,
Leaves are crimson, brown, and yellow;
Pines are soughing, birches stir,
And the Gipsy trail is fresh beneath the fir.

There is rhythm in the woods, and in the fields,
Nature yields:
And the harvest voices crying,
Blend with Autumn zephyrs sighing;
Tone and color, frost and fire,
Wings the nocturne Nature plays upon her lyre.”

– William Stanley Braithwaite, Lyric of Autumn
