Aloha! A bit overdue but I finally got a chance to blog with all the windwhirl activities and sightseeing in Honolulu and the Big Island. As soon as we landed, me and my sister rushed off to document January and Sam’s 5th year vow renewal at the beautiful Kailua Beach Park. The weather was gorgeous and the company even better :) January is actually launching her own one stop shop company offering baby products for moms and babies. So if any moms are out there looking for recommendations for good baby products, visit mamaluvsbaby.com. We had a short service and went around the beach for some relax portraits.
Jan and Sam, thanks so much for being so fun and easy going. I only know one person living in Hawaii and am glad to add you guys to my list of friend from Hawaii. Enjoy the pictures and many wishes for more anniversaries to come!

Their one year old son, Junior. So adorable!

Another wedding second shooting for Jimmy Ryan. Boy what a location and awesome couple! Great catering service by Memorable Affairs at the Fonthill Museum. Enjoy the pictures!

One of my favorite flowers: peony. Peony comes in many different colors but the pale pink ones especially makes me think of lazy summertime and soft pastel colors. Peonies are perennial plants that come back for a few years, unlike other plant that dies once the season is over and can’t be reuse. Peonies are prized for their beauty, fragrance and even medicinal qualities. I’ve never tried it but the Chinese uses the roots from white peony to treat liver problems and relieve pain. I don’t see it often but brides do use peony as their bouquet or flower centerpiece and I think it looked absolutely beautiful.
