Last weekend was my good friend Erum and Max’s wedding at MoShulu Restaurant & Bar on Columbus Boulevard. I was fortunate to meet Erum at a time when I needed a listening ear and she came along and we hit it off. Despite knowing Max for over 7 years, her eyes would lit up and she would go on and on about Max this and Max that. The struggles on how much it takes for these two to finally be together is a testimony to how strong their love is for one another. For Max, it was love at first sight and so it seems fitting that their first dance was to Truly Madly Deeply.
Enjoy the pictures below. It is more then what I normally post for a wedding but it’s needed to represent this beautiful and different culture. Many thanks to Matt for second shooting with me on the reception day.
Erum’s younger brother, Ashu, is such a sweetheart. From bringing us food on Mehndi night to helping hold my light. He’s going to be a heartbreaker :)

Erum’s bridal lehenga choli was custom made in India. Sooo stunning!

Thank you both so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day. All the friends and family have been very nice and helpful. Good friends are very important and I’m glad I can count you guys as one. Now that the stress of the wedding is over, Erum…time to attend a belly class with me? :) Congrats you guys. May your happiest day be the worst of your tomorrows. XOXO
